Azure Integration Engineer/Developer

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £600 per day

Location: Hybrid (Remote working with the occasional visit to the Client site in the West Midlands when required)

IR35 Status: Inside

Start: January 2025

 

We require an Azure Integration Engineer/Developer for our higher education client to be part of an existing team of developers to develop integrations between their SITS student record system and end user applications via Azure Integration Services.  This is part of a wider migration project to move the student record system into a cloud infrastructure.  

A major part of the work is integrating their on-prem systems with a cloud-based student record system.  Most of the work is usuing Function Apps written in C#, but associated AIS knowledge such as APIM and Key Vaults is required.

There is also some Data Factory work being carried too so any exposure to this would be advantageous.

You will be part of a small team and required to attend meetings when required and be happy to contribute.

Integration elements of the role include:

  • As part of the 'SITS Student Records System to the Cloud' project, the existing integration between SITS and other systems needs to move to an API-based approach making substantial use of Azure Integration Services (AIS).
  • The work will be delivered in conjunction with a Microsoft partner, this role will include engagement with the partner and work with the Project Managers responsible for the delivery of the overall cloud migration projects.
  • Experience on complex integration projects is a requirement for the role. 
  • Experience of AIS and higher education would be very useful.
  • Experience with SAP integration would also be useful.
