Lead Developer (SC Cleared)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hybrid working (2 days per week at the client in Manchester)
Rate: £700 - £750 per day
Start: ASAP
IR35 Status: Inside
We require an SC Cleared Lead Developer for our Government client to join a team on a brand new project with all brand new code and as such we require someone with strong Node.JS skills together with AWS and Serverless.
You will also possess authentication and authorisation skills, together with a mix of creating new API’s.
Also so any experience with security would be desirable.
The client drives digital transformation focused on users and builds and maintains common platforms, products and tools for others to use and creates public services that are accessible, inclusive and easy to use.
As the SC Cleared Lead Developer you will possess the following:
Experienced in software development with Node.js
Experienced in building serverless (both compute and databases) on AWS
Able to manage the service components to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets.
Responsibilities include:
A the Lead Developer you will lead development on one or a small number of related project teams.
Duties include:
- guide the ways in which the team works
- be proficient in a wide range of technical systems
- be involved in identifying appropriate technology and approaches, deciding when software should be written
- lead the design and development of new cloud-based services, specifically making use of Serverless and Node.js
- contribute to the developer community
- provide technical leadership, coach and mentor your team
- promote knowledge sharing and adoption of good practice
