Job Description
Job title – SAP Security Administrator
Location – Cardiff (hybrid 3 days a week onsite)
Rate - £200 a day Inside IR35
What you’ll be responsible for
Summary
You will have technical knowledge of SAP systems and be able to analyse and resolve SAP Access issues reported to the team via DWRIT tickets. You will be responsible for completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner, as well as ensuring that policies and procedures, governance and audit requirements for each task are met. User administration is a significant element of this role.
This will include:
1. |
User administration in all SAP clients, to include cloud tenants and success factor instances as requested in Service Now. |

2. |
Analyse authorisation issues faced by users, propose solution and effect the role change if required. Assist with potential authorisation issues that are logged with other SAP support teams. |
|

3. |
Provide SAP licensing data from the licensing tool as required. |
|
|
4. |
Ensure that authorisation profiles are checked for risk against the risk matrix. |
|
|
5. |
Ensure all SAP Security policies are complied with. |
|
|
6. |
Build and maintain SAP MRS, Dummy Payroll, SRM & C4C organisational structures. |
|
|
7. |
Execute periodic reporting for the relevant Governance, Risk and Compliance components and action any issues where appropriate. |
|
|
8. |
Represent the team in project and business support meetings to discuss and agree functional and technical demands and appropriate solutions with Business Managers. |
|
|
9. |
Action high priority SAP Security incidents immediately to a satisfactory conclusion updating the Service Now ticket appropriately. |
|
|
10. |
Ability to be able to prioritise work effectively. |
|

12. |
Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business. |

Internal
- All colleagues requiring SAP access and support.
- Support managers to request relevant access for their teams.
- Work with internal auditors as required.
External
- Working with third party IT support provider to support business as usual and project requirements.
- Work with external auditors to support annual audit.
