We are recruiting for a fantastic client within the central government sector in central London for a Cyber Security Lead!

The Cyber Security Lead is responsible for ensuring that all Information Services being carried out across the various disciplines in the organisation are assessed and protected against vulnerabilities and exposure to internal or external cyber attacks. This is to enable delivery of the organisations operational outcomes and objectives, maintain regulatory and legislative compliance, deliver value for money and maintain the confidence of its stakeholders and the public.

As a subject matter expert in cyber security engineering, you will be expected to manage any IT Security Incidents at the organisation, ensuring that appropriate technical actions are taken across the organisation and damage minimised.

This role will suit someone who has come from a technical background in the capacity such as a Security Engineer, Networking Technical Lead, SOC Analyst, Pen Tester or Consultant, Networking with Cyber Security. It is essential you can provide evidence and examples for each of the following in your application:

*Proven experience of successfully architecting, integrating, managing and delivering cyber security, governance and risk initiatives with a working knowledge of relevant cyber security standards, frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
*Experience of OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, WASC, Microsoft Azure, Advanced Threat Protection, Network Architectures, Data Encryption, Windows 10 and DNS
*Responsibility for facilitating agreement to Cyber Security risk appetite statements.
*Experience of Cyber Security controls testing strategy and execution.
*Experience of Cyber Security control framework and capability benchmarking.
*Good relationship/stakeholder management skills and the ability to articulate risk to business stakeholders, and proven communication and presentation skills.

You will be required to hold a minimum of SC or DV Clearance.

If you do not hold an active SC or DV Clearance please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying, however, successful appointment will require security clearance prior to commencement, which can take up to 12 weeks.
