Job hopping is becoming a trend for ‘Millennials’ and this can be based on how hard employees think it is to find a new job. Over the years, the difficulty of finding a new job has decreased.

As more people are finding job seeking less difficult, job seekers are also becoming more optimistic about find jobs for their skills and experience.

The optimism may lead into why job hopping is increasing, with 18% of employees changing jobs every 1-3 years, but 45% of employees staying at a job for over 10 years. Long periods of time in employment with one employer is a trait of ‘Baby Boomers’ and ‘Generation-X’ employees.
