G-Cloud is a digital marketplace owned and operated by the UK Government.  It is designed to simplify the procurement of IT services for cloud-based solutions for public sector organisations, including infrastructure, platform, software, and specialist cloud services.

The framework was first opened in 2012 and is now in its 13th iteration – G-Cloud 13, with the next evolution expected in 2023.  It is delivering progressive and positive change to public sector procurement, allowing a level playing field, and therefore true competition, amongst all approved suppliers.
