The Service Delivery Manager - The Core of Your IT Project’s Success

Whilst delivering on time and to budget is always the aim, it is sometimes easier said than done despite the best project controls.  With project velocity increasing and pressure to deliver faster and within tight budgets, this can create even more strain on your organisation.  The IT Agility AbilityTM service has been designed to remove this pain and stress.

At Certes, we assign a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to help run, manage, and deliver the project.  As well as having responsibility for the performance and people management of the resources, your SDM acts as your project liaison, giving you an accessible and accountable point of contact at every stage of your project.

The SDM will communicate and collaborate between you and our team of IT professionals that are working on your project.  The SDM is intrinsic to IT Agility AbilityTM; this role handles the delivery of project outcomes leaving you to concentrate on other aspects of your transformation roadmap.

Letting our SDM Handle the Issues and Deal with Challenges

Through your SDM, you’ll benefit from:

  • Access to the right expertise without needing to directly manage the IT professionals/technicians – saving valuable time and energy
  • Having a contact point with the competency to communicate clearly with your organisation and manage the IT resource assigned
  • Dedicated focus on dealing with any problems, issues, and challenges that arise as well as absolute focus on finding, managing and most importantly mitigating any risk to the project

A Single Point of Contact and Continuous Communication

The SDM continuously monitors the service throughout the project lifecycle.  In support of continuous communication, the SDM uses our custom-built output management system the Certes agility abilityTM Portal (CaaP), where they can monitor and navigate the delivery of the project.
