Digital Services Location: Stoke Campus Salary £54,421 to £63,059 Per Annum Permanent Full Time Release Date Monday 15 May 2023 Closing Date Monday 29 May 2023 Reference DS97-23 Please note: this job is only available to current employees of the University About The Role The Cyber Security Manager is critical in protecting the University from malicious activity. They develop and implement Digital Security policy in order to assure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of University information systems with the relevant legislation, regulation and standards. Providing expert advice on, the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of information security controls and management strategies, leading rapid response should a security breech occur. Providing leadership and oversight of information assurance, designing and implementing high level strategy and policy, to ensure stakeholder confidence that risk to the integrity of information on premise or in the Cloud. Key initiatives for the Cyber security team in the next 12 months will be ISO27001 alignment, automation of security response, implementing a University wide security awareness programme, and implementing a zero trustsecurity architecture.
