‘The Butterfly Effect’ this weeks Cyber Insights from The National Cyber Skills Centre

If a butterfly flaps its wings then it causes a tornado to break out two continents away. That’s the butterfly effect, a rather sweet interpretation of chaos theory which states that a single occurrence, no matter how small, can change the course of the universe forever.

When a teenager hacker, a butterfly of bytes, flapped their technical wings they caused cyber chaos at TalkTalk. What can we learn from this?
